From Saturday 3 September, to Monday 12 September, Emmy awards 2022 were presented.
The National Academy was formed in 1946, and the first Emmy awards were held in 1949.The word “Emmy,” derives from “Immy,” a name symbolising an orthicon, a telescope-shaped old fashioned camera.
The statue that is given to the Emmy Award winners, is the representation of a golden winged woman holding an atom, symbolizing the close relationship between arts and science.The award is given to celebrate the “outstanding achievement” of the selected artist.
The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences bestows the Emmy Awards. Only members of the academy are eligible to vote for the awards, and members can only vote within their respective discipline. Dramatic series, comedy series, special drama, limited series, and variety, music, or comedy are among the sections for which awards are given. Within each of these categories, the best program is chosen, and the better artists are chosen in the majority of cases. Special achievement, creative arts, and technical categories are also recognized.
This year, 26 artists were awarded, including the famous Zendaya, Amanda Seyfried, and Lizzo for their talents in acting, directing, and best production. Here are some other examples:
